The Elmira Pioneers, members of the New York Collegiate Baseball League, announced that they have set a new NYCBL Pioneers attendance record. "We have had more than 19,000 fans join us for some fun at the Dunn this season." exclaimed team owner Jeff Kunion. "We have worked hard to revitalize the Pioneers brand and our fans have responding by showing up in record numbers."
"We have had great success with our Premium Nights when we have given away, HD TV's, DVD players, jewelry, restaurant certificates and the Allegiant Air Weekend Vacation to Orlando." stated General Manager Pat McKernan. "Fans have also had a lot of fun with our on field entertainment games like, Let's Make A Deal, the Dizzy Bat Race and the Water Balloon Toss. It makes for a great family entertainment experience. With our mascots Stitches and Homerun Hawk leading the way, fans always have a fun filled evening at Dunn Field."
There are still four home games left in the regular season. So, don't miss out on the fun this "Thirsty Thursday" when all beer and soft drinks are only a dollar. Saturday, July 24th is our last Spectacular Saturday of the season and we will be giving away a DVD player, jewelry, a Weekend Vacation to Atlantic City and Free Wings for a Year at the recently opened Buffalo Wild Wings in Horseheads. The Party in the Park Concert Series presents Code 3 in the concourse after the game.
We finish off the year with two games against Hornell, with Tuesday July 27 being Fan Appreciation Night. There will be more giveaways and the Party in the Park Concert Series concludes with the Colin Markus Band.
Tickets for all Pioneers games are available at Jubilee Foods, located at 2898 Westinghouse Road in Horseheads.
