The Pioneers were once again stopped short of finishing a game as the skies above Hornell opened up and caused the game to be suspended. The game was tied 2-2 with the Pioneers up to bat in the top of the 7th inning. Jordan Egan was working in relief of Chad Simendinger who started the game and pitched 5 innings before a 35 minute rain delay in the 5th inning.
A date has not been set for the resumption of play. League Officials also announced that the game between Elmira and Allegany County will resume before the regulary scheduled game at Dunn Field on July 7th.
